Contrary to popular belief, it's not just how a club looks and feels that makes a difference in performance. We test the following areas during your fitting session:

1. Precise
shaft flex
relative to your swing speed. It's important to determine this to ensure the bending and release action of the shaft is in synchronization with your swing to transfer the greatest amount of energy to the golf ball.
2. Shaft weight
is critically important to consistent ball striking and varies from golfer to golfer depending on their downswing tempo. A smoother swinger can well manage a lighter shaft, but a more aggressive swinger will need a heavier shaft to smooth them out.
3. Shaft bend
profile (commonly called kick point) relates to the stiffness of the tip section of the shaft and is an important shaft characteristic that directly relates to the golfers’ wrist angle release point and how "handsy" they are through impact. An incorrect bend profile can cause inconsistent impact and performance.
4. Clubhead design
specifications play the most important roles in achieving optimum ball flight performance. Loft, sole width, and center of gravity location, as well as blade length and the amount of hosel offset have a far greater impact on ball flight than shaft characteristics. Selecting the best clubhead designs for you is accomplished by testing a variety of clubheads on the shaft which was selected as best for your unique swing.
5. Proper set makeup
is the most important part of a well-executed fitting. We strongly discourage putting "troublesome" clubs in the bag. Getting the proper driver loft to achieve the best launch and spin conditions is vitally important to achieve maximum distance with accuracy. Loft gaps in the wedges should be kept at no more than five degrees. Fairway woods and hybrids should be selected on their ability to "gap" well between the drivers and irons and produce a high, soft landing shot.
